Night Owls

Night Owls is a social bowls program that began in South Australia over 25 years ago.

At Salisbury, Night Owls runs on Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to around 9.30/10.00pm.

Night Owls is all about enjoying the game in a relaxed and fun environment with friends. Anyone can play, all you need is a pair of flat-soled (no heels) shoes or runners. Alternatively, you can just play in bare feet. Gather a team of four or join with other players at the Club. A fun way to enjoy the sport with theme nights, drink specials, BBQ’s and more.  The Night Owls fee is only $7 per player.

If you don’t have your own bowls, don’t worry…we can supply you with everything you need.

Registrations are on Wednesday 7th October & 14th October. Registration fee is $10.00 for 12 months.

The opening round starts on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020.  6.00/6.30pm for a 7 pm start.

The last pre-Christmas game is on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 and the season resumes on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021.

Finals are scheduled for Wednesday, March 10th, 2021  and Wednesday, March 17th, 2021.  Non-finalists are welcome to play bowls in a social format on these evenings.

Presentation Night will be held on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021

Wet Weather Policy

Please call the Cub on 8258 1551 if you think that bowls may be called off.   If the greens are too wet to play, we can use the undercover dome!
The first 16 teams to ring and want a game will play!  These games will not count in the fixture tables.
